Motorcycle officer busts stunt driver in Kingsville

A driver will try walking or public transit for a while after being cited for stunt driving Monday morning.

An Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) motorcycle officer clocked the driver going over twice the speed limit on Highway 3 in Kingsville.

The OPP reported on social media that the driver was clocked going 173 kilometres per hour in a construction zone, which had a speed limit of 80 kilometres per hour.

The 31-year-old driver from Leamington was ticketed for stunt driving.

The driver's licence is now suspended for 30 days, and the vehicle is impounded for 14 days.
